1 · What we collect — minimal

ChainStudy is a pure static HTML site. As of V1:

• ❌ No user registration, no login, no accounts
• ❌ No email / name / phone / DOB collection
• ❌ No Adobe / Mixpanel / Plausible-type analytics. Two measurement tools do run: Google Analytics 4 (G-FGZFV17479) and Cloudflare Web Analytics (sections 2 and 3)
• ❌ No tracking pixels or fingerprinting by us; the cookies you may see come from Google Analytics (section 6)
• ❌ No ad network
• ❌ No chat widget / support popup / comment system
• ❌ No form submissions

2 · Google Analytics 4 (G-FGZFV17479)

We use GA4 for page views, referral-entry clicks and referral-code copy-button clicks. Interaction events include the entry position and page language, not clipboard contents or wallet credentials. Google may use cookies as part of this. You can manage analytics in the following ways:

• You can opt out of GA tracking with Google's official browser extension
• We don't see your IP, only aggregate stats by country / browser / referrer
• Google's data handling: see Google Privacy Policy

3 · Hosting on Cloudflare

ChainStudy is hosted on Cloudflare. We don't run a server of our own, so there are no access logs on our side. To get each page to you, Cloudflare handles your IP address, the URL you request and your browser type; that falls under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Every page also loads Cloudflare Web Analytics (from static.cloudflareinsights.com), which Cloudflare puts in place automatically. It shows us visit totals, referring sites and how fast pages load. Cloudflare's own description: no cookies, no localStorage, and nothing that ties a visit to you through your IP or browser. An ad or tracker blocker in your browser will stop this script, and GA4 too.

4 · Third-party links

Articles link to:

Clicking a link takes you off-site. Third-party sites have their own privacy policies and data practices outside our control. Read each before visiting.

About the OKX referral link

When you click an OKX referral link:

• OKX recognizes the referral code in the URL, which identifies your visit as coming from this site
• This recognition doesn't transmit any of your personal info from us (we don't have any)
• Only the fact "this visit came via that referral code"
• If you complete signup + trading at OKX, OKX pays us referral compensation
• We can't see who signed up, when, or how much they traded — only OKX's aggregate dashboard ("cumulative referrals", "cumulative compensation")

5 · What we don't use

For clarity, we don't use: Facebook Pixel, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Twitter Pixel, Hotjar, Crazy Egg, FullStory, Microsoft Clarity, reCAPTCHA, or any CDN-hosted fonts.

6 · Cookies & local storage

The language prompt saves the language choice and dismissal time in localStorage. These can remain after the tab closes; clear this site's local storage in your browser to remove them. Google Analytics may set its own cookies — see Google's policy. Cloudflare Web Analytics adds none.

7 · Your rights

Since we don't collect personal data ourselves, "data subject rights" typically don't apply to us. If you believe we touch your personal data in any way, you can ask us, request access, request deletion, or complain to your data-protection authority. Email [email protected].

8 · Minors

The site is not directed to under-18s. Crypto / on-chain tools / derivatives involve financial decisions; minors should not access. If you're a guardian who discovers a minor accessing the site, please assist them in leaving.

9 · Modifications

This policy may be updated at any time. Updates post here with new effective date.
